Happy hour in Park Slope.

Park Slope reads as one neighborhood and drinks as two avenues. Fifth holds more bars than any other street here by a wide margin, and most of the happy hours with them. Seventh, one block uphill, is where the neighborhood shops and eats instead. Below Ninth Street the grid loosens into South Slope, quieter and more residential, with what windows it has spread thin along Fifth and the numbered streets off it. The slope stops discounting around seven, almost without exception.
